40th Conejo Valley Home Remodeling Show Seeks Vendors
News from Ventura County Star:

Dates for the 40th Conejo Valley Home Remodeling Show will be Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19, at the Westlake Hyatt (880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village). The show is accepting vendor applications from local builders, interior designers, manufacturers, contractors, landscapers and other trades seeking to reach homeowners.

“Last year’s spring and fall shows saw some of the strongest attendance we’ve had in years,” says Rick Goodman, show organizer. “It has much to do with a stronger economy. Homeowners are upgrading and remodeling again and they’re looking for experts to help answer their questions and to provide the services they need.” The show attracts approximately 5,000 visitors over a two-day period.

More than 170 vendors participate at the show. They include companies providing architectural, kitchen and bath remodeling and interior design services, garage door replacement, heating and air conditioning units, landscaping, flooring, electrical upgrades, home security, roofing, cabinetry, marble and granite countertops, windows and doors, pool design and construction, solar energy and fencing.

Booths are available inside and outside the show’s 60′ x 400′ enclosed tent. On Saturday, April 18, the show will host gourmet food trucks from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Home Show hours are Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, 10…………… continues on Ventura County Star

The kitchen and living rooms were redesigned to function as a collaborative space, ideal for entertaining as well as daily life. Pavelka also added a large patio door to access the pool in the back yard from the living room. This additional light brightens the home, as does the skylight that was added to the kitchen.

The newly remodeled kitchen features dark stained cabinetry with a modern style. The kitchen also features a hidden message center, a secondary trough sink in the island, and tailored storage for small appliances.
